Carriers, boxes, delivery pricing and postage checks.
Where to find this in Storey: Console → Shipping & Logistics
- Who does the shipping? Choose We ship it ourselves (your own carrier accounts and rates) or Storey handles it.
- Carrier accounts: Connect your Shippo account (postage is billed to you), or Connect your EasyPost account with your API key.
- What you charge for delivery: add a Percent or Flat amount on top of the carrier's price. Under When no carrier is connected, set a Flat delivery charge and an optional Free over amount.
- Your boxes: Add a box with its size and maximum weight. Standard carrier boxes are already included.
- Packaging per item: on an item, set its weight and size under Packaging, and tick Always ships in its own box if needed.
- Should postage be checked against what it really cost? Choose Leave it alone, Suggest changes or Adjust automatically.
- How long before an unshipped order is chased? Pick how many minutes before Storey follows up on an unshipped order.
