Seating, split checks, courses and tips.

Seat a party
Tap a table on the map. In Seat …, enter Guests. Storey suggests a Server (whoever has the fewest covers or tables in that section). Tap Seat party.
Split a check
Open the ticket and choose Split this check. Move items onto Check 1, Check 2 and so on, using Add another check as needed. Every item has to be on a check, then tap Save split. It stays one order and one kitchen ticket.
Courses and the kitchen
On the kitchen screens, items show under Working or Held for a later course. Tap Fire to send the next course, Bump when an item is done, and Recall to undo a bump. Set up stations in Order Routing in the Console.
Tips
Under How tips are shared out, choose:
- To whoever is assigned the table at checkout
- To whoever checked them out
- Shared with the entire staff. You can use Keep the pool to certain positions to limit who shares.
